The designer, contrary to tradition, decided not to use equally three colours, blue, red and white, but to focus on two, blue and white, adding red to the decor and making only one red waistcoat as a perfect accent, which can complete any look. This is probably why the “SAILOR BOY” collection looks modern and attractive, while still reflecting nobility and elegance. Trendy graphics imitating sketchy hand-drawn designs can be seen here too, in painted side-stripes, plaid on a spring coat, stripes in knitwear, in lettering prints linked in a circle, resembling a ship’s steering wheel. The fitting of the clothes is quite conservative, with no significant increases in volume or changes in length. The collection features colour contrasts and combinations of textures. Mesh is used as a finishing material, which creates a multi-layered effect. The garments are decorated with contrasting patches, elegant prints and embroidery.
