SCOTLAND Collection

SCOTLAND Collection

Each country has a number of vivid expressive features, national symbols that evoke strong associations. And the first thing that comes to mind when Scotland is mentioned is plaid. Of all kinds, dark and light, cotton and wool, the Scottishplaid (tartan, as it is called in its homeland) is the embodiment of tradition, culture, and quality. The plaid is periodically at the top of fashion trends. And in the new season Gulliver designers tried to reveal it once again, to look at the plaid not only as a creative source to the development of elegant school uniforms, but also to think in a completely different way. The plaid print for girls in the mini age group, in a collection with an obvious sporty vibe, is a new opportunity for creative experimentation.

The foundation of the “SCOTLAND” collection is a check pattern built on a combination of blue, red, and white. Very bright, large, contrasting, realized on raincoat for outerwear and in knitwear for the second layer items, it attracts attention and invites you to examine the whole collection in detail. There are many new eye-catching textures, stylish finishes, and comfortable functional elements that will be appreciated by a little girl. The collection features are glossy and matte raincoat fabrics, cut and knitted textiles, denim and a new material for Gulliver – quilted fabric called capitonium. It has been known for a long time but only recently gained significant popularity, becoming truly ultra-fashionable. Soft, warm, cozy, and wonderful to wear, capitonium has an expressive texture with distinctive stitching. However, unlike the small geometric patterns commonly used in quilted fabrics Gulliver’s models are based on large, beautiful typographic designs that create a new perspective on this material and on the garments made from it.
