SHREDDER Collection
Gulliver designers are often asked how ideas are born, from what sources they draw inspiration, at what stage the final image of the collection is formed. Undoubtedly, great experience, high level of expertise and constant examination of trends allow them to make collections bright, attractive and commercial without the torment of the creation process. Nevertheless, creative search is a continuous process and sometimes random things, to which people of non-creative professions pay no attention, give a special impulse for new ideas and experiments to the designer. Accidentally, passing by a small device that turns piles of papers into thin shredded strips in a second, the designer immediately decided to create a boy’s collection where the shredded paper would become a dynamic rapport pattern and a motif for local prints.

Bright, dynamic collection «Shredder» is designed in a sport style, which is reflected not only in the energetic vertical pattern on the raincoat and knitted fabrics, but also in the overall aesthetic and functional solution, in which the main role is given to large elements of finishing decor: contrast zips, wide straps that look like elements of mountain climbers’ equipment, cargo pockets, double cords, active lettering prints. The colour palette of the collection is fully in line with the trends. Black, grey, yellow and silver complement each other perfectly and make the collection vivid, contrasting and impressive. Textile and knitted fabrics used are comfortable and functional. Ornamental and silver raincoat fabric, futter, melange knitted fabric, mesh, varnished denim are trendy materials which are ideal for a teenager’s wardrobe, creating visual and tactile diversity. The collection’s design features moulded moisture-wicking zips, voluminous textured prints made in the rubber printing technique, shiny silver lettering elements made by foiling, and large patches.
